2 Career Technical Education Courses (Computer class may count as 1 CTE credit)

Dual credit and online courses are acceptable.

* Bridge math and Capstone math does not qualify for seniors after the Class of 2013.

95% Attendance (Over the course of 4 years)
No Out-of-School Suspensions
Successful passing of all Gateway Exams or state graduation requirements

    * Senior Classes of 2010 will remain under the 20hr service requirement.

The TN/VA Scholars program Out of School Suspension policy is as follows:
Any TN/VA Scholars student who receives an Out of School Suspension from this point forward will be permanently removed from the Scholars program. Students who received an OSS in the past and were allowed to re-enter the program will not be removed. However any new OSS's will result in their permanent expulsion from the program.

Tennessee Standard Curriculum The Tennessee Standard curriculum is based on the existing Higher Education system in Tennessee which includes: Vocational/Technical Schools, Community Colleges, the Board of Regents Universities and the University of Tennessee. It also fully considers the manufacturing and service industries in Tennessee and the trainable workforce needed for continuing their operations of for attracting new industry. This Tennessee Standard will allow students to pursue academic excellence to enter colleges, universities, or the technical workforce.
